Fans often come up to me and ask me how I started this idea of making
posters. Having lived in the Bronx all my life, I love the Yankees and love
going to Yankee games. With nothing special to do since I was retired, one
day about about ten years ago, May 27, 1988, I made up these posters at
my local Senior Center, The Hope of Israel Citizen Center, 840 Gerard Ave.,
Bronx, N.Y. 10451:
The first and second posters...nobody ever really paid attention to
them. Additional posters after that I gave to the fans. I never expected
this to turn into something so big!
Keep checking back because we will be constantly adding posters from
previous years.
Many fans ask me for the posters at the end of the games and I'm sorry
I can't give them all away, but I have a good reason. I'm saving them all
in the hopes that one day they might find a home in The Baseball Hall of
Fame.
Soon enough, if you really like one of these posters and you'd think
it would make a nice collectible or gift for Father's Day, a birthday, or
whatever, you'll be able to order a signed original replica right from this
website! So make sure you bookmark my site and keep checking on its progress.......
